A journey map is only worth the decisions it changes
Most journey maps are made once, printed large, admired in a workshop and never opened again. The useful ones are smaller, uglier, tied to real data, and they end with someone changing something.
The mentors on this page have run mapping work inside companies rather than selling it as a deliverable. They know which research you actually need before you start, how to run the workshop without it becoming a sticky note exercise, and how to get the map in front of the people who own the broken step.
Bring the situation you are in. A leadership team that asked for a journey map and cannot say what for. Research you already have and do not know how to structure. A map that exists and has changed nothing. One moment in the journey everyone agrees is bad and nobody owns.
They will also tell you when you do not need a map at all, which saves more time than the map would have. Your first call is free.
What a customer journey mapping mentor helps with
- Deciding what the map is for before anyone opens a template
- The research you need first, and the research you can skip
- Running a mapping workshop that ends in owners and dates
- Tying map stages to data you already collect
- Finding the moments that actually move retention
- Getting the map in front of the team that owns the broken step

Connecting with Melanie was a godsend for what I was looking for within my company. She not only helped me with very relevant insights for my project but also showed me ways I could improve the company's onboarding process. I was very lucky to meet Melanie, an excellent professional and a wonderful person! It was 100% worth it =)
I had an inspirational call with Camila where she shared her career journey with me. It gave me the inspiration to look at my own career aspirations from a different point of view - one I will carry forward all throughout my future. Thanks Camila!

Questions people ask before booking
Is the first call really free?
Yes. One 30 minute call with any mentor, no card and no trial to cancel. Membership after that is one price for unlimited calls.
Do I need research done before booking?
No. Half the value of a first call is deciding what research is worth doing. Bring what you have, even if it is a spreadsheet of complaints.
Which tool should we map in?
Mentors will have preferences, but it is rarely the question that matters. Several will tell you to start in a document and only move to a tool once the stages have stopped changing.
Can a mentor review a map we already made?
Yes. Send it in the booking notes. Reviewing a real map is usually a more useful 30 minutes than a general conversation about mapping.
