15. We Do Not Sell Personal Information for Money
Mentors CX does not sell member personal information to data brokers or unrelated third parties in exchange for money.
We do not provide newsletter sponsors with member email lists merely because they sponsor content.
However, some privacy laws define concepts such as "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" more broadly and may treat certain advertising technologies as sharing even where no money is exchanged for personal information.
Where applicable law provides consent or opt-out rights relating to these activities, we will provide or honor those mechanisms as required.
16. International Data Transfers
Mentors CX is operated by a U.S. company and serves an international community.
Personal information may therefore be processed, stored, or accessed in the United States and other countries where Mentors CX or our service providers operate.
Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will seek to use appropriate mechanisms, which may include contractual safeguards, standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, recognized transfer frameworks, consent where legally permitted, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
Closing your Mentors CX account does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of all information where retention is required or permitted for legal, financial, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, or other legitimate purposes.
Deleting a Mentors CX account also does not automatically delete information separately controlled by third-party services such as Stripe, Slack, Google, Microsoft, or Zoom.
19. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Our infrastructure includes security controls provided by our hosting, database, authentication, payment, and infrastructure providers.
