Navigating our Slack community
Connecting with our CX Slack community
While 1-on-1 mentoring sessions provide structured, deep-dive guidance, ongoing career growth relies on continuous peer support, real-time advice, and spontaneous networking.
The Mentors CX Slack Community is the interactive, real-time extension of our platform. It’s where CX leaders, support specialists, founders, mentors, and mentees gather to share practical wisdom, solve immediate operational hurdles, and build meaningful professional relationships every single day.
Why should you join our Slack community?
Customer experience isn't built in a vacuum, it’s built through shared experiences. Our Slack space is designed to bridge the gap between formal mentoring sessions, offering an informal, highly collaborative environment where you can:
- Get real-time operational feedback: Stuck on a vendor choice? Trying to refine your SLA structure or implement an AI agent overnight? Tap into the collective brainpower of hundreds of CX practitioners who have already solved the challenge you're facing.
- Expand your professional network: Connect with peers across industries, regions, and company sizes without the pressure of cold outreach.
- Access exclusive insights & playbooks: Learn from real operational experiments and curated resources shared directly by experienced mentors and industry experts.
- Discover & share career opportunities: Explore unlisted job opportunities, post hiring needs for your own team, or ask for warm introductions.
- Stay updated on community events: Be the first to know about upcoming Mentors CX events.

Community etiquette
The strength of our community relies on trust and constructive participation. Our community operates under a foundational principle: Give Back to the community (GBC).
To keep Slack a safe and high-value space for everyone, we ask all members to follow these core guidelines:
- Lead with value: Share your hard-earned lessons, offer constructive feedback, and help answer fellow members' questions whenever you can.
- No unsolicited pitching or spam: Self-promotion through unsolicited cold DMs or aggressive sales pitches detract from the community experience and are strictly prohibited. If you have a resource or tool to share, ensure it directly answers a member's question in context.
- Protect confidentiality: Members frequently share real workplace challenges. Maintain psychological safety by keeping sensitive business details and private discussions confidential.
- Embrace respectful discourse: Diverse backgrounds and perspectives make our community stronger. Keep all discussions empathetic and professional.
Making the most of your slack experience
- Ask specific questions: When seeking advice, provide concise context about your goals, tool stack, or current constraint. The more specific your query, the more actionable the community's responses will be.
- Use threads: Keep conversations organized and easy to follow by replying within message threads rather than starting new top-level messages.
- Tag mentors intentionally: Mentors are active throughout the workspace. Feel free to tag mentors in open discussions when their specific expertise matches the topic at hand.
