Hi, I’m someone who’s spent almost 20 years in the world of customer experience and support leadership, leading teams, running feedback programs, turning data into stories, rallying cross-functional support, and speaking at industry events to help make CX more human. Along the way, I’ve created two Udemy courses, mentored fellow CX professionals, and ridden the ups and downs of career change (including getting laid off). That twist led me somewhere unexpected: furniture flipping. These days, I juggle my full-time CX work with restoring furniture, hosting The Career Flipper Podcast, and sharing real stories of people making bold career moves. My path hasn’t been straight but I’ve learned a lot, and I love helping others find their way through the messiness of change too.

I started my career on the front lines in customer service contact center support. I have also been a supervisor and manager.
With little to no budget, and a lot of creativity, I've built these programs for startups, as well as collected feedback, tracked metrics to show ROI, and used data to tell a story to make improvements across the org.
From writing the surveys, to reviewing the results and actually getting customers to submit their feedback and internal teams to do something with it.
Doing this with little to no budget at startups can be tricky, but not impossible.
From singing songs to customers to handwriting cards and dropping them in the mail, to sending personalized videos via email to put a face to my name, there are many low-budget ways to get creative and personalize the customer experience.
In the ag tech space, I developed SOPs to navigate consumer crisis related issues to produce.
From doing 10,000 demos to changing up a platform that a team used for years, I've navigated this in the startup realm.
Being the person on the front lines responding to comments, to analyzing comments for trends and issues, to social listening and content creation, I've done this as well in the startup world as well as on my side-hustles for furniture flipping and the podcast.
I worked remote and hybrid roles since 2006 and can shed light on practices for showing up as your best self.
I have worked in the ag tech space as well as ecommerce for produce.
I worked in the DMV content space
I have spent time as a freelance contractor/consultant.
I have spent time with an ecommerce produce delivery service.
I helped develop a subscription service.
I have worked in the Saas space, mainly VoIP.
